Rapid Mini Inverter with STEP - INVERTER technology
Rapid Mini Inverters are heat pumps with Step Inverter technology. This means that they have the option of adjusting the output manually - they have variable speeds. The "step compressor" heat output can be intelligently adjusted from 20% to 100% to suit different heating requirements. .
At the beginning of the season, the Rapid Mini Inverter's output is 100% to reach the set water temperature, and during the season the output is variable and the HP only runs at the power needed to maintain the desired temperature.
The average COP for RMIC is 9.
It can be assumed that the consumption of 1 kW of electrical energy is converted into up to 9kW of heat.
What is new is that these heat pumps have a refrigerant R32.
